Have you participated in grooming competitions in Level 3 Expert Division and won many awards and titles? Are you a past Groom Team Member? Are you currently a grooming competition judge? IJA is an international judging association dedicated to training judges worldwide to be the best of the best in the art of judging dog bathing, grooming and styling competitions.

IJA has created a progressive, continuing education system for all of its judges with online and onsite training sessions conducted around the globe.

Qualifications
The applicant must be well educated in the art of dog bathing, grooming and styling and possess three or more of the titles listed below to apply for the prestigious position of an IJA Judge.
  • Dog Bather, Groomer and Stylist
  • Advanced Level 3 Dog Grooming Contest Competitor
  • Conformation Handler and/or Exhibitor
  • Grooming Contest Judge
  • Conformation Judge

How to Apply
Existing Judges or individuals interested in becoming an IJA Judge must first complete the application procedures and then complete the online and onsite training sessions on how to judge an IJA Sanctioned Competition.
